I have just been looking back at the blog I wrote about the same time last year - and the situation is just the same if not better!
Following the world recession and every one re-evaluating their financial position, it seems that the bargain hunters are out in full force again. Only this time, more people are selling for a host of different reasons and at even lower prices.
What is fortunate for the overseas buyer, there are more and more re-sales coming on to the market, either from people selling up and going home or moving onwards and upwards to larger properties. As a result, there are quite a few re-sales being offered fully furnished. Just think, some one has used their 3 bedroom duplex for a couple of weeks every summer for the past few years, so everything is as good as new - and you are only having to pay £1,000 or £2,000 extra for a fully furnished property with air con and security grills already in place!!
Altinkum, Didim, Akbuk, Yesilkent, Yesiltepe - a lot of building has been going on in the past year and I am pleased to report that some of the quality has increased significantly. The introductory photos are a good example. The rooms are spacious, the balconies are huge and the quality of the build and finishing are superb. (Just click on the pictures for more details).
